The La Roche-Posay laboratory produces and markets dermatological skincare products formulated with La Roche-Posay thermal spring water. Initially specializing in therapeutic products, the group gradually broadened its range to include daily care products, and has now turned its attention to cosmetics, while retaining its therapeutic credibility thanks to the thermal springs from which its products are derived
What sets it apart from other laboratories is the care it takes to offer products adapted to every skin type, especially highly sensitive skin, and every type of skin problem
Bought by the L'Oréal group in 1989, the La Roche-Posay laboratory is part of the ActiveCosmetics division within L'Oréal, which passed the 2 billion sales mark in 2017. This dynamism is partly due to the La Roche-Posay franchises: Effaclar, Lipikar and Cicaplast
