Le marché mondial de la robinetterie industrielle est estimé à plus de 80 milliards de dollars et c’est la région asiatique qui bénéficié d’une très forte croissance au cours de la décennie passée. Le développement de l’industrie dans la région asiatique s’est traduit par une explosion de la demande de robinetterie, à mesure que l’infrastructure industrielle se développait. En Europe, la demande est moins dynamique avec une plus grande logique de renouvellement des infrastructures existantes.
En Espagne, le marché de la robinetterie industrielle est mature et plusieurs entreprises sont actives en Espagne et à l’étranger. On peut citer Sutein et Arflu ou encore Válvulas ARCO qui réalise 65% de son chiffre d’affaires à l’étranger. L’activité a toutefois été affectée par la crise de la covid-19, qui a entraîné le ralentissement de l’activité des industries en 2020, et une perturbation de la demande chinoise. La Chine représentant le principal pays client en termes de robinetterie industrielle.
