KIKO is an Italian brand operating in the cosmetics industry, founded in 1997 by the Milan-based Percassi Group, which manufactures and sells cosmetics, make-up and skin care products (the product range includes not only the make-up line but also skin care, beauty accessories, nail polish) for women. In 2001, the joint venture was signed with Inditex, the Spanish company that owns Zara. In 2018, the Luxembourg fund Peninsula entered the company with a 30 percent stake. Initially, the stores were only open in Europe, and with the e-commerce channel active since 2009, but since the acquisition of the Madinaac brand in 2012, it has since expanded globally/internationally.
Today, the company has over 6500 employees and over 900 stores spread across 30 global markets.
