Wolfberger is an Alsatian wine cooperative created by a group of winegrowers in 1902.
Produced in compliance with the Crémant d'Alsace appellation d'origine crontrôlée, Wolfberger stands out for its production times, which are well above the minimum ageing period on laths (12 months):
-Cuvées Traditionnelles: minimum 16 months ageing on laths, and up to 24 months for Vieilles Vignes, for fine richness on the palate.
-Les Spécialités: minimum 18 months for Crémants de cépages and up to 36 months for Crémant Prestige. This extra time is a guarantee of quality, as it lends additional flexibility to the Crémant.
-Crémant Bio is characterized by a clear qualitative differentiation in line with its slightly higher price positioning than Brut Classique.
