Founded in 2005 by Nicolas Warter and Victor Augais, UrbanSoccer initially developed in the Paris region with the creation of the Puteaux complex, followed by Meudon in 2007 and Orsay in 2008. The same year, the company opened its first regional complex, in Nantes. From 2009 onwards, UrbanSoccer continued to expand in the Paris region and stepped up its presence in major cities. In 2013, UrbanSoccer went international, opening its first complex in Brussels. Today, the company has 30 complexes, including 10 in Paris, 3 in Lyon, and 2 each in Lille, Bordeaux and Toulouse.
UrbanSoccer was born of the merger between Soccer 5 and Urban Football in 2014. Importer of the futsal concept in France, the company has the largest number of pitches and is the leader on the French market. It has also expanded its services for companies (i.e. catering, seminars) and children (i.e. internships). The company is behind the PSG Urban Academy, which attracted 3,400 youngsters in the 2017-2018 season.

UrbanSoccer takes to padel in Dijon 13/12/2023
- The UrbanSoccer center in Saint-Apollinaire, near Dijon, opened 4 padel courts at the end of November.
- There are around 1,800 padel courts in France, enabling some 500,000 French people to get a taste of the sport by 2023, according to the Union Sport & Cycle.
- The UrbanSoccer center in Dijon welcomes an average of 200 to 300 people every day.
- Since 2015, UrbanSoccer has been testing padel and has since accelerated its UrbanPadel brand to 49 padel courts in France to date.
- UrbanSoccer has almost 300 5-a-side soccer pitches. UrbanSoccer is one of the leaders in 5-a-side soccer in France, with 32 centers, including 1 in Lisbon.
- The company claims sales of around forty million euros.
