Founded in 1907, Rossignol is today 80% owned by Altor Equity Partners. It has gradually established itself on the sports market thanks to its successive champion partners: Jean-Baptiste Grange, Martin Fourcade, etc.
it is present in the ski equipment and clothing segments, as well as in more urban clothing aimed at a broader customer base.
In 2012, it entered the connected sports market with the development of an application enabling skiers to record their performance. In collaboration with PIQ, Rossignol launched its first connected ski in 2015
More recently, the brand pursued its diversification strategy by acquiring Time Sport, a manufacturer of carbon road bikes and automatic pedals
