Valentin Traiteur has sales of 288 million euros and 1,300 employees.
At the beginning of the summer, this manufacturer of delicatessen products sold mainly in supermarkets under private label acquired Maison Bolard.
This family-run business, based in Saint-Amour (Jura), manufactures pies for the delicatessen sections of supermarkets and butchers, and also produces brioche sausages in Chaponnay (Rhône), for the fresh sections of supermarkets and wholesalers.
The group employs 450 people and generates 83 million euros in sales.
The group also operates Alpes Frais (a specialist in au gratin dishes, quiches and tarts) in Isère and a mill in Saône-et-Loire (which transforms wheat into flour exclusively for the group), and will be investing 47 million euros in its production facilities over the next two years.
