Underdog is an industrial start-up created last year in Nantes, specializing in the reconditioning of second-hand household appliances.
The company raised 3.8 million euros in April.
It plans to recondition 50,000 products by 2025.
In France, 25 million tonnes of household appliances are thrown away every year.
Claire Bretton also founded a start-up, Daco.io, in 2016, which was acquired by Veepee in 2018.
She then launched Veepee's second-hand business, "Re-Cycle".
