Turnover: 421 million EUR (2023)

Country: France

Founded in 1931, Solinest specialized in confectionery from the outset, before diversifying into the distribution of cookies and chocolates.

In 1968, Solinest obtained exclusive distribution of Ricola, a product of the eponymous Swiss brand, on the French market. In 2017, Ricola is the leader in plant-based products in France (45 million boxes sold annually in supermarkets), offering a range of 20 plant-based products. Capitalizing on its visibility in stores and in the pocket confectionery market, Ricola plans to launch a new range of herbal products in 2019.

From 2014 onwards, Solinest intensifies the diversification of its product range with strategic partnerships in beverages with Starbucks or in niche ultra-fresh markets such as coconut water.
