Socomore history
- Founded in 1972 by Jean Bossuet in Vannes
- In 1974, Socomore began serving the aerospace industry (now Airbus) in Nantes and Saint Nazaire with its DIESTONE range of solvents for general cleaning of aircraft structural parts prior to assembly, and its range of temporary protection products, which have enabled Socomore to become a significant global player in the sector.
- At the end of 1998, Socomore expanded into Europe, followed by Asia, Russia, North America to serve Boeing and Bombardier, and South America for Embraer.
- In 2012, Socomore acquired a new factory and a supply chain designed to serve its customers worldwide and support their development on a long-term basis.
- In 2020, development of a range of hydroalcoholic gels for surfaces
- Acquisition of Salveco to offer a range of 100% natural cleaning/disinfecting products
- In 2022, acquisition ofOLNICA, which provides a complete solution to combat fraud: a unique invisible marker, mobile and online software, handheld readers and expert services

- Socomore increased its stake in American Flamemaster from 23% to 75%.
- Socomore employs 360 people.
