Grado Labs is a family-owned company based in Brooklyn, New York, specializing in the manufacture of high-quality audio products.
Founded in 1953 by Joseph Grado, the company initially manufactured wooden loudspeakers, turntables and tone arms, before focusing entirely on the manufacture of high-end cartridges for vinyl turntables in the 1960s.
In the 1980s, the company also developed high-end tone arms under the Joseph Grado Signature brand.
