Emmaus puts social projects and solidarity before economic or individualistic considerations, and promotes an alternative model of society in which work and community life enable people to (re)build themselves while helping others.
The movement brings together more than 27,500 people (volunteers, companions, employees and salaried workers) throughout France, and is present in 37 countries worldwide.

Created in 2016, the Emmaüs label is the online commerce platform for players in the Emmaüs Movement and their partners in the social and solidarity economy (SSE).
It offers these players the opportunity to open an online store on their marketplace.
This activity is not only a means of training companions, employees on integration programs and people in sheltered workshops, in jobs that are in short supply in the digital and logistics fields, but also a new vector of communication and a growth driver for these structures.
It acts as a trusted third party between buyers and sellers, securing transactions, moderating supply and providing after-sales service.
