Champagne Mercier was founded in the mid-19th century by Eugène Mercier. A visionary, he played an active part in many of the innovations of his time: advertising films with the Lumière brothers, Champagne Mercier tastings at the World's Fairs, etc.
In 1970, the house merged with Moët & Chandon, joining the LVMH group in 1987.
MHCS, the grouping of Moët et Chandon, Ruinart and Dom Pérignon
