  • Poltrona Frau, a high-end Italian furniture brand, has chosen Paris to unveil its new collection of home accessories called "Beautilities".
  • Poltrona Frau plans to open a new flagship in Shanghai and another in New York on Madison Avenue before the end of the year.
  • Poltrona Frau is part of the American Haworth Group, which also includes Cassina, another furniture brand.
  • Cassina plans to open two new stores in France, in Lyon and Marseille, in partnership with Silvera, a leading designer furniture brand.
  • Zanotta, another furniture brand, joined the Haworth Group in the spring under Cassina management.
  • Porada, a company specializing in the manufacture of wooden furniture, inaugurated a showroom in Paris, adding to those in Milan and London and generating 30% of its sales in France
