ABEL Energy is an Australian startup with a vision to develop a series of Power-to-X synthetic fuel projects across the country, using Australia's abundant solar and wind energy resources to produce green hydrogen, methanol and other hydrogen-derived fuels such as DME. When carbon is required as an input, ABEL Energy will use CO2 extracted directly or indirectly from the air, not carbon from the ground. The first project will be built at the port of Bell Bay in the Australian state of Tasmania.
