Founded in 2008 by three engineers, Withings is a French company that develops and designs connected objects. It was acquired in 2016 by Nokia for 170 million euros, before being bought again by company founder Eric Carreel.

Withings made its big comeback in 2019 at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the world's most important annual trade show for technological innovation in consumer electronics.
