500M investment for 350 MW of green hydrogen in Rouen 25/11/2023

Verso Energy is planning to set up an industrial unit for the production of low-carbon hydrogen and synthetic fuels in partnership with Haropa Port.
Scheduled for commissioning by 2029, the plant will create around 150 direct and 250 indirect jobs.
The plant will be located in Grand-Quevilly (Seine-Maritime), near Rouen.
It should have a hydrogen production capacity of 350 MW or 50,000 tonnes per year.
Investment in the plant is in the region of 500 million euros.
In October, Verso Energy announced plans to invest 450 million euros in a decarbonated hydrogen production unit at Carling-Saint-Avold.
In January, Verso Energy raised €50 million to accelerate its development. More than 50 employees.
