Verney-Carron is France's largest and oldest manufacturer of hunting weapons. Since its origins, it has been based in Saint-Etienne, the French gun capital.
Its main activity is the manufacture and distribution of a wide range of hunting rifles and shotguns under the Verney-Carron trademark. It also manufactures and distributes the Flash-Ball defensive bullet launchers used by France's national police and gendarmerie forces. Hunting clothing and accessories bearing the Ligne Verney-Carron trademark are manufactured and distributed by CI-LVC SAS, to which Verney-Carron SA has granted a trademark license.
Since 2015, Verney-Carron has been developing new weapons for the armed forces, scheduled for production in early 2018. These include a machine pistol, an assault rifle and a semi-automatic sniper rifle.
