- Umiami has raised €32.5 million for factory development and expansion in Europe and the United States.
- Umiami was launched in 2020 by Tristan Maurel and Martin Habfast.
- They bought the former Knorr site in Duppigheim (Bas-Rhin) at the end of 2022.
- Planned production capacity is 7,500 tonnes a year.
