TSMC invests $10 billion in Germany 11/08/2023
- Taiwanese group TSMC has launched its project for a chip megafab in Dresden, Germany.
- TSMC will hold 70% of a joint venture created for the project, with NXP, Infineon and Bosch each owning a 10% stake.
- The cost of the project is estimated at 10 billion euros, with TSMC planning to invest 3.5 billion euros itself.
