Safran has won the acquisition of Preligens for around 220 million euros.
- In two years, Preligens has become a service provider to four organizations within the French Ministry of Defense, including the Directorate of Military Intelligence, as well as a British service. - Preligens aims to compete with Palantir on the European market.
- Safran offers Preligens access to the US market for classified data.
- Preligens has already won contracts in the USA, Japan and with NATO, but can only serve Western military forces.
- In 2022, a seven-year, 240 million euro framework contract was signed with the French Ministry of the Armed Forces, with no guarantee of annual sales.
- After losses of 5 million euros the previous year, Preligens was aiming to break even this year.
