Founded in 2000, Pika Éditions continues to expand its catalog. In 2005, it became one of the first publishers to publish French mangaka. In 2007, the company was acquired by Hachette. Pika Édition promotes novelty through works such as To Your Eternity, which sold 13,000 copies in 2017.

The publisher has also acquired the publishing rights to well-known mangas:

  • Fairy Tail, published since 2006 in Japan, of which 790,000 tomes were sold in France in 2017.
  • Attack of the Titans, a major work of the early 2010s, with the publication of the anime in 2013. That same year, Pika Édition began publication in France, selling 435,000 copies in 2017.
  • Seven Deadly Sins, although in relative decline compared to other manga, helped the publisher sell 150,000 copies in 2017.
