ORTIF (Outil Régional de Télémédecine d'Île-de-France) was launched in 2014 and enables healthcare players to to carry out telemedicine activities as well as telestaffs, tele-CPR and teleradiology.

The platform offers several functionalities to members: exchange, videoconferencing, tele-monitoring, synchronous exchange of biomedical data, invoicing to the Assurance Maladie, instant messaginge between healthcare professionals, and the use of healthcare data for clinical and/or medico-economic studies.

ORTIF is used in the management of over 50 medical specialties, the main ones being:

  • neurology

  • ophthalmology

  • oncology

  • dermatology

  • oral care,

  • geriatrics,

  • cardiology,

  • pediatrics,

  • stomatology.

Patient numbers have exploded between 2015 and 2019: from 4281 in 2015 to 130,000 in 2019. [SESAN]

Since its launch, 161 sites have signed up and are using the ORTIF service.
