OpenClassrooms is an online training site that offers its members certification courses and pathways that lead to growing careers. Its content is produced in-house, by schools, universities, partner companies such as Microsoft or IBM, or historically by volunteers. Until 2018, any member of the site could be an author, through a tool called "editorial interface" and then "Course Lab." Many courses were created by the community, but are no longer promoted. Initially focused on computer programming, since 2013 the platform has covered broader topics such as marketing, entrepreneurship, and science.
