Plant-based alternatives: Olala! launches production 08/10/2023
- Start-up Olala! has set up a 1,000 m2 production site in Boulogne-sur-Mer.
- The company produces plant-based food substitutes for seafood products.
- It offers three products: Tomora, Tona and Solmono
- It plans to launch three new products before the end of the year.
- Its products have a relatively short list of ingredients (5 for tarama) and are positioned at the same price as their non-vegetable equivalents.
- Olala! customers include two restaurant chains and a sushi manufacturer.
- It has successfully raised €3.2m at the end of 2021 to finalize its R&D and prepare the launch of its first product range.
- The investment made in the production site amounts to 1 M€.
