NovaPress is a French media company founded by Jean-François Bizot in 1972. The emergence of free radio in France enabled the group to create Radio Nova in 1981. In 1999, Nova Press took over TSF (a communist station), which became TSF Jazz, but was finally bought out in 2008. Nova Press handles advertising for Radio Nova and TSF Jazz, and produces radio and TV packages, notably for Arte and France Télévision (Nova Spot). Nova Press also has a production arm, Nova Production.
