Lorient giant mast factory 26/12/2023

  • The Solidsail Mast Factory has been selected as one of the winners of the "Première usine" scheme run by Bpifrance
  • It brings together Les Chantiers de l'Atlantique and Morbihan-based SMEs Avel Robotics, CDK Technologies, Lorima, Multiplast and SMM
  • 15 to 20 million euros are being invested in the Solidsail Mast Factory in Lanester, north of Lorient.
  • The plant is expected to produce between 10 and 12 masts a year, each measuring 70 to 80 meters in height.
  • Solidsail Mast Factory technologies can reduce ship fuel consumption by 20-50%.
