Comptoir Colonial was created in 1971 by Société Internationale de Transaction (SIT) to import tropical fruits and vegetables, and the brand quickly became a great success.
In 2002, the brand was taken over by Mr. Darcet, who had developed a passion for rare spices
The company has since expanded its product range to offer over 700 references of peppers, spices and spice blends, aromatic herbs, mustards and spicy condiments, oils and vinegars, and other delicatessen products.
