Latécoère recapitalizes with its American shareholder 08/11/2023
- 108.2 million capital increase
- The main shareholder, the American fund Searchlight Capital, which holds 75% of the shares, has undertaken to subscribe to the entirety of this new capital increase. The fund had already injected 193 million at the time of the previous recapitalization in 2021.
- The equipment manufacturer now employs just 1,300 of its 5,900-strong workforce in France.
- This summer, Latécoère sold its Querétaro electrical wiring plant in Mexico, which it had bought from Bombardier in 2020, to Canada's Bombardier.
- Latécoère has increased its sales by 39% in 2022 to 468 million euros, still a long way from the 713 million in 2019, before Covid.
