Kramer tap-maker relies more than ever on Made in France 11/02/2024

Kramer is a valve manufacturer based in Étain (Meuse).
It employs 200 people
Kramer's production is 100% made in France.
Four years ago, Kramer acquired the Alsatian company Horus, specialized in luxury fittings.
In 2021, Kramer acquired Jacob Delafon's historic factory in Damparis (Jura), renamed Jurassienne de céramique française. In autumn 2023, the site began manufacturing Horus sanitary ceramics.
In spring 2023, Kramer took over bathroom products distributor Sarodis (Maine-et-Loire), creating the new Kramer Distribution entity.
Kramer cooperates with its long-standing supplier, the Italian company Water Tech Solutions, in which it holds a stake.
Kramer aims to increase sales by two-thirds by 2025.
Kramer is the preferred supplier of several materials distributors, including Saint-Gobain Distribution Bâtiment France (formerly Point.P).
Kramer is currently in the midst of a transition to become a complete bathroom supplier, from sanitary ceramics to wall-mounted WCs and bathroom furniture.

The American Kohler Group, which owns Kramer, has 32,000 employees.
The Kramer Group will take over the Damparis site, which manufactures valves and fittings, in 2021.
The group has 185 employees and sales of 80 million euros.
In 2020, the plant will employ 150 people, compared with 58 after the takeover.
By 2023, private labels will account for 90% of the 90,000 parts sold.
Half of these parts are manufactured in Damparis.
Plant sales should exceed 4 million euros by 2023.
The plant's target is to produce 150,000 parts a year, 60% for private labels and 40% for the Horus and Kramer brands.
The Horus and Kramer brands have been extended to include toilet bowls, basins, washbasins and shower trays manufactured at Damparis.
