Juventus

Juventus Football Club, commonly known as Juventus, is an Italian soccer club based in Turin, in the Piedmont region of Italy. Founded in 1897, it is one of the most successful clubs in Italy and in world football. Juventus plays its home matches at Juventus Stadium, also known as Allianz Stadium for sponsorship reasons, which has a capacity of about 41,500 spectators.

Juventus is known for its long record of domestic success, having won the Italian championship, known as Serie A, on numerous occasions. The team has won the Italian title for several decades, including the 1980s, 1990s. Juventus holds the record for consecutive titles won in Serie A, with nine consecutive Scudetti from 2011 to 2020.

Internationally, Juventus has had good results, reaching several finals of European competitions. It has won the Champions Cup/Champions League twice, in 1985 and 1996. The team has also won several editions of the UEFA Cup (now the UEFA Europa League) and the Cup Winners' Cup. Juventus has been the home club of many great players over the years, including Michel Platini, Alessandro Del Piero, Zinedine Zidane, Gianluigi Buffon, Pavel Nedved, Andrea Pirlo and many others.
