Founded in 1897, it is one of the most successful clubs in Italy and in world football. Juventus plays its home matches at Juventus Stadium, also known as Allianz Stadium for sponsorship reasons, which has a capacity of about 41,500 spectators.

Juventus is known for its long record of domestic success, having won the Italian championship, known as Serie A, on numerous occasions.
