The Jules brand was created in 1976, although it did not appear as a separate brand until 2000. The creation of the company was made possible thanks to the support of the Mulliez family association as majority shareholder.

In 2009, Jules was merged into the clothing company Happychic, which brought together the Jules, Brice and Bizzbee brands

In 2019, Jules takes over the assets and integrates the Brice chain

the Jules brand will disappear by 2021 at the latest.

The group, historically anchored in Northern France, has around 450 stores in over 10 countries, of which almost 85% are in France, with 20% of outlets managed as franchises.
