Isigny-Sainte-Mère was founded in 1980. The company is the result of the merger of the Isigny-sur-Mer cooperative (founded in 1932) and the Saint-Mère-Eglise cooperative (founded in 1909).
Isigny-Sainte-Mère's product portfolio comprises 4 types of product: butters, creams, cheeses and infant milks. The cooperative offers 3 ranges of sweet butters, savory butters and peat butters (for professionals). All these products benefit from a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).
The cooperative has 456 collection points in the Manche, Orne and Calvados départements. It collects nearly 247 million liters of milk, 52% of which is destined for export (mainly to Asia and the Middle East).
