Revue XXI taken over by Indigo Publications 09/09/2023
- The new publisher Indigo Publications has made a takeover offer for Quatre, publisher of the magazines "XXI" and "6Mois", which has been placed in receivership.
- The takeover bid proposes to move to a digital format, strengthen the presence of investigative reporting, and merge the "XXI" and "6Mois" magazines under the "XXI" brand.
- The takeover plan includes only half of the current employees, i.e. 4 out of 8.
- xXI" magazine claimed average bookstore sales of between 8,000 and 12,000 copies, and around 8,000 print subscriptions at the start of the year.
- Indigo achieved sales of 7.6 million euros in 2022, an increase of 17% on the previous year.
