Renewable energy distributor Ilek goes into production 12/12/2023

Toulouse-based Ilek is preparing to build around 20 small photovoltaic farms on abandoned land.
The first of these farms was inaugurated in Lupiac, Gers, in September.
This photovoltaic farm can produce up to 249 kilowatt-peak, enough to power 70 homes.
The company also plans to carry out a dozen projects to build and purchase solar and hydroelectric power plants.
Ilek has been buying nuclear power from EDF since 2022, which it then resells at a higher price on the wholesale market.
Its goal for 2025 is to have 150,000 customers supplied by its own power plants.
Founded in 2016, Ilek currently has 150,000 customers, including 110,000 for renewable electricity and 40,000 for biogas.
The company obtains its supplies from 60 hydroelectric, wind and photovoltaic power plants, as well as 40 agricultural methanization sites.
The company has forecast sales of €170 million for 2022.

Ilek, a green energy supplier based in Toulouse, plans to supply 30% of its customers with clean energy by 2025.
An initial small-scale ground-mounted power plant with a capacity of 249 kWp has been commissioned in Lupiac, in the Gers region.
Ilek plans to diversify by investing in photovoltaic, wind or hydroelectric projects in France.
Founded in 2016, the company currently has 140,000 customers (2/3 electricity and 1/3 gas), individuals and small professionals.
It obtains its supplies from 45 renewable energy producers spread across France, among them 20 methanization units.
Ilek's goal is to reach 500,000 customers by the end of 2025.
The company has achieved sales of 170 million euros by 2022 and employs 200 people.
