HEF invests in Saint-Etienne to produce fuel cell components 27/02/2024

HEF prepares to open two production lines for materials used in fuel cells for hydrogen-powered vehicles.

The first bipolar plates manufactured using technology developed by HEF will roll off the Group's production lines.
These plates are used in hydrogen fuel cells
hEF, a surface treatment specialist, is devoting 40 million euros to the industrialization of its innovation, which halves the cost of production.
The initial target market is the mobility market, including commercial vehicles, trains and public transport vehicles.
The company expects to generate sales of 30 to 40 million euros from this market over a four-year period.
