GT Logistics sets up in the military aeronautics sector 27/04/2023
- GT Logistics was founded in 2001 by Eric Sarrat.
- GT Logistics employs 1,400 people and operates on some sixty industrial sites.
- The company has recorded 30% growth in 2021, with sales of 100 million euros.
- The SIAé employs over 4,700 people and is responsible for the maintenance and modernization of armed forces aircraft and helicopters.
- GT Logistics has been based in Ambérieu-en-Bugey (Ain), one of the SIAé's five main sites, for many years.
- A new three-year contract signed in 2022 will enable GT Logistics to expand to three other sites in Brittany, Auvergne and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
- The defense sector now accounts for 20% of GT Logistics sales, with customers including Défense Nationale, CEA, Nexter and Safran Electronics.
