- The GravitHy plant will be set up in Fos-sur-Mer in 2024.

- GravitHy's objective is to produce pre-reduced iron ore by 2027, with an industrial ramp-up to 2 million tonnes per year in 2028.
- The project represents 500 direct jobs.
- The total investment is 2.2 billion euros.
- Western Europe consumes one hundred million tonnes of steel per year.
- The project requires more than one gigawatt (GW) of electrical power, the equivalent of a modern nuclear reactor.
- The challenge for GravitHy is to raise 2.2 billion euros by the end of 2024, before a final investment decision is made.
- Gravithy's Swedish competitor, H2 Green Steel, is in the process of raising $1.5 billion from private investors.
