Fuyao Glass America is planning a $300 million expansion in Moraine to make products for the electric vehicle industry.
The expansion is expected to provide at least 500 jobs.
The facility is scheduled to be fully operational in January 2025.
Project Sky Team requested $750,000 in funding from the Montgomery County Economic Development/Government Equity (ED/GE) Program.
Fuyao's expansion includes a $46 million, 600,000-square-foot facility on formerly used industrial property.
The company plans to create 500 jobs over a three-year period.
The city of Moraine is committing to a $750,000 forgiveness loan, to be released at $150,000 a year for five years.
City officials are considering a Community Reinvestment Area abatement on the $46 million in new construction.
