Europlasma relies on armaments to get out of its difficulties 05/09/2023
- Europlasma avoided liquidation in 2019 thanks to a change of shareholder, management and the wiping out of a 21 million euro debt.
- In 2021, Europlasma took over Forges de Tarbes, an SME with around twenty employees, the only one in France to master the forging of large parts.
- Production capacity at Forges de Tarbes will increase from 2,500 parts per month in 2022 to 10,000 next year.
- In 2022, Europlasma acquired Satma PPC, a plant producing aluminum anodes and capacitors.
- Europlasma's sales rose by almost 50% last year to €14.5 million.
- The Europlasma group employs 187 people and recorded a deficit of almost 16 million euros last year.
- Europlasma's Chinese subsidiary has signed an agreement to build an aluminum scrap processing plant, scheduled to come on stream in 2025 with a capacity of 90,000 tons.
