Eurenco brings the powder to Bergerac 07/05/2023
- Eurenco is an explosives specialist 100% owned by the Agence des participations de l'État.
- The project consists of developing a powder manufacturing capacity for large-calibre artillery systems (155 mm) in Bergerac (Dordogne).
- France is determined to be self-sufficient in ammunition.
- Powder is used to propel shells, particularly those for Caesar guns, over a distance of more than 40 km.
- By 2025, Eurenco will be supplying enough powder to equip 95,000 shells a year. an investment of 60 million euros
- Eurenco is based in Sorgues (Vaucluse) and employs 1100 people.
