A company specializing in the publishing and creation of postcards and greeting cards, whose origins date back to 1910 with the creation of Hallmark US in the United States. At the same time, Editions Yvon was founded in France in 1919.

In 1963, Hallmark opened a French subsidiary, followed by its first La Carterie store in Paris in 1967. After several acquisitions (Verkeke in 1993, Dalix in 1998), the Hallmark France subsidiary became an independent company in 2001.

The licensing portfolio was extended to include Disney in 2004 and Warner in 2009. In 2011, Editions Yvon merged with La Carterie, creating a major player in the French stationery market, with some 50 franchise stores and 7,000 points of sale nationwide.

The company was taken over in 2018 by the Draeger family, who changed its name to Draeger La Carterie.

The group is now present in 9 countries, distributed in 50 different countries under the Draeger La Carterie or Draeger Iberica brand, and publishes its cards in over 6 languages. According to Le Nouvel Observateur, postcards now account for less than 5% of the group's sales.

The group acquired The Tie Rack in 2020
