The Cité internationale universitaire de Paris is a unique place that welcomes 12,000 students, researchers and artists of 150 different nationalities to its 43 houses every year. It has been recognized as a public utility since June 6, 1925.

The buildings are owned by the universities of Paris, but the Cité internationale is an asset that enhances the international attractiveness of Parisian and Ile-de-France universities.

It is currently expanding, with the construction of 10 new houses by 2025 and the modernization of its services as part of a digital plan.
