Paris selects three self-service electric scooter operators 30/06/2023
- Three operators have been selected to regulate the self-service electric scooter market in Paris: Cityscoot , Yego and Cooltra.
- Deployment by these operators will begin on October 2, 2023, and may ramp up to 7,500 vehicles during the first two years.
- It can then reach up to 9,000 vehicles from 2026 until the end of the contract in 2028 (an average of 3,000 scooters per operator).
- Each operator will pay a fixed annual fee of 67 euros per scooter, plus a variable portion based on sales.
- Paris City Hall expects to generate revenues of around 920,000 euros in 2024 from the deployment of these three operators.
