Beris mouthpieces are made of a food-safe plastic compound with a smooth surface, which provides sliding capabilities in the horse's mouth. Unlike rubber bites, these mouthpieces do not have a "rubber effect" and are well accepted by horses, promoting chewing and salivation. The mouthpieces marketed by the company are:

• Eggbut mouthpiece: available in sizes 120, 130 and 140 mm, with soft, medium and hard options. The eggbutt design prevents pinching and ensures that the bite stays in the horse's mouth. Suitable for most horses.
• With Eggbutt joint: Available in 125, 135 and 145 mm sizes, with medium flexibility. This jointed bit applies pressure to the jaws and sides of the tongue, while the design prevents substantial disturbance of blood flow. It rests evenly on the tongue and features an extra flexible area for jaw comfort.
• Comfort Bit: available in sizes 120, 130 and 140 mm, with soft and hard options. This anatomically correct bite offers even support on the tongue and bars, providing more space and mobility for the tongue. It applies pressure evenly and prevents crushing or pinching.
• Bits with tongue port: available in sizes 120, 130 and 140 mm, with soft and hard options. The flattened port area allows more room for the horse's tongue, promoting relaxation and chewing. Suitable for horses that are intolerant of tongue pressure or those that run their tongue over the bit.
• kONNEX beris: available in 130 and 140 mm sizes, with soft and hard options. The KONNEX-Bit combines the positive features of the Tongue Part and the Butterfly Bit. It provides ample room for the sensitive tongue muscle and distributes reinforcing pressure over a larger area, protecting the tongue.
• Butterfly Bit: available in sizes 120, 130 and 140 mm, with soft and hard options. This innovative bit has an anatomically correct shape with a larger surface area in the tongue area, providing optimal space and soft influence. Horses show increased chewing activity and acceptance.
• beris PRIME: available in sizes 120, 130 and 140 mm, with supersoft option. The PRIME sets new standards in communication thanks to its anatomical shape, which distributes pressure equally on the tongue and bars. Integrated oval guards prevent lip pinching and provide lateral support.
• Leather bite: available in sizes 120, 130 and 140 mm, with soft and hard options. The leather bit slips easily into the horse's mouth, adapting to the horse's anatomy when wet. Especially suitable for young, sensitive horses that may not like other materials. Even bite-averse horses often accept leather and regain confidence in gentle riders.
