Founded in 2012 by Jean-Michel Amaré and Pierre-Jean Bonnefond, Ataway is an expert in technologies for producing clean hydrogen reliably, safely and efficiently.
Thanks to a patented water electrolysis technology with high on-board environmental performanceatawey produces (green) hydrogen on site, using electricity from renewable energies and water.

mcPhy, the specialist in low-carbon hydrogen production and distribution equipment, is to sell its charging station business to hydrogen station manufacturer Atawey.
The transaction will enable McPhy to refocus on the manufacture of electrolyzers, and in particular on the commissioning of its gigafactory in Fontaine (Belfort, France)
The supply of stations represented 32% of McPhy's sales in 2022
McPhy has a portfolio of 40 projects.
In addition to its gigafactory in Fontaine, McPhy has industrial facilities in Grenoble (Isère), an engineering site in Wildau (Germany) and a production plant in San Miniato(Italy).
Atawey aims to become a European leader in the sector
It has a fleet of 30 green hydrogen recharging stations installed in France, and sales of 5 million euros by 2022, with around 50 employees
It has installed over 40% of the French fleet and expects to triple its revenues by 2024
