Hydrogen: Atawey on track to take over McPhy's charging stations 29/01/2024
- Station supply accounted for 32% of McPhy's 16.1 million euros in sales in 2022. The Grenoble-based group will now concentrate on the manufacture of electrolyzers, including the construction of a plant in Belfort, France
- Atawey's workforce has already grown from 50 to 92 by 2023.
- The Savoy-based company has won orders worth over 20 million euros.
- Sales have jumped from 3 to 8 million euros in one year.
- The company also intends to expand internationally in 2024, in Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy.

McPhy to refocus on electrolyzers by selling its hydrogen station business to Atawey 15/12/2023
- mcPhy, the specialist in low-carbon hydrogen production and distribution equipment, is to sell its charging station business to hydrogen station manufacturer Atawey.
- The transaction will enable McPhy to refocus on the manufacture of electrolyzers, and in particular on the commissioning of its gigafactory in Fontaine(Belfort, France)
- The supply of stations represented 32% of McPhy's sales in 2022
- McPhy has a portfolio of 40 projects.
- In addition to its gigafactory in Fontaine, McPhy has industrial facilities in Grenoble (Isère), an engineering site in Wildau (Germany) and a production plant in San Miniato(Italy).
- Atawey aims to become a European leader in the sector
- It has a fleet of 30 green hydrogen recharging stations installed in France, and sales of 5 million euros by 2022, with around 50 employees
- It has installed over 40% of the French fleet and expects to triple its revenues by 2024
- It has opened offices in Madrid (Spain) and Benelux in 2023, and is also planning to set up operations in Italy and Germany.
