- The Warenghem distillery was founded by Léon Warenghem in Lannion at the end of the 19th century.
- It became famous for its herbal liqueurs, notably Elixir d'Armorique
- Over time, the Warenghem family expanded their product range to include mint, blackcurrant and kirsch liqueurs.
- In 1998, Armorik, the first single malt from France and Brittany, was officially launched and became the driving force behind the distillery.
- Armorik Double Maturation was awarded Best European Whisky at the World Whiskies Awards in 2013, then double gold in 2014 at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
- International recognition has enabled Armorik single malt to be exported all over the world. The distillery is very attached to its territory, which it considers an integral part of the whisky-making process.
