Altitude Infra is France's third-largest fiber optic operator. Founded in 1990, the group is headed by Dorothée Lebarbier, daughter of the founder. It is 3ᵉ largest fiber optic infrastructure operator in France, with uninterrupted growth since its creation. The group employs 800 people, and more than 1,600 in its subsidiaries.

Altitude takes control of FTTH R.I.P. in Eastern France 06/01/2023

  • Groupe Altitude becomes majority shareholder in the FTTH RIP (Réseaux d'Initiative Publique) Rosace (Alsace) and Losange (Grand Est).
  • Altitude was already a minority shareholder and had strengthened its investment in 2021 by taking over the stake of the infra Marguerite fund (37% in Rosace and 22% in Losange).
  • The two RIPs bring fiber to over 1.4 million homes and businesses, including over a million for Losange Fibre, France's largest RIP.
  • Caisse des Dépôts and NGE Concessions remain shareholders in Rosace Fibre and Losange Fibre, alongside Altitude.
  • With the acquisition of Covage's 26 networks in 2021, Altitude is the country's leading independent RIP operator, and the 3rd largest operator of fiber optic infrastructure in France.
