OpenGate Capital acquires Extol 29/08/2022
- OpenGate Capital is in negotiations to acquire Extol.
- The acquisition of Extol is part of the formation of the European Aluminium Solutions Group (ASG), which also includes Aluminium France Extrusion.
- ASG will operate 4 plants (3 in France and 1 in Spain).
- ASG will supply extruded aluminum products to various European sectors.
- ASG will employ around 800 people.
- OpenGate Capital is a private equity firm founded in 2005, based in Los Angeles with European offices in Paris, France.
- To date, OpenGate Capital has acquired 40 platforms in North America and Europe.
- Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, and the deal is expected to close later this year.
