In 1963, the Agence Œnologique de Bresica (AEB) was founded, a company dedicated to the production of wine technologies (stabilizers, fermentation aids, etc.). It was not until the 1980s that production of yeasts and enzymes began. In 1983, AEB began to internationalize, setting up subsidiaries in Latin America, acquiring Spindal, founding AEB Africa... It was not until the 2000s that yeast for beer brewing was launched.
In 2017, AEB acquired Innotec Tecnologie Innovative Srl, a company operating in the oenology and beverage sector. The group is in turn acquired from SK Capital by Apax Partners. The head office continues to expand internationally with the creation of a subsidiary in Shanghai, AEB Shanghai, aimed at developing the wine and beer market in Asia.
